You get to choose the meat you’d like served, so a freshly-cooked hog roast or turkey for example, as well as a selection of seasonal vegetables and your preferred potato dish, and we add suitable, delicious trimmings like our own-recipe sage and onion stuffing and apple or cranberry sauce, and add lashings of our homemade onion gravy. Our Hog Roast Southsea festive menu, which we serve at all kinds of Christmas parties, like staff functions and family get-togethers, is also a tasty treat for you and your guests, as it features your choice of main, as well as several yummy sides including fresh veg, pigs in blankets and roasties and even mince pies with brandy cream to finish the meal off nicely.

For an early Christmas work party that Hog Roast Southsea catered on Friday, Josie asked us to cook a slow-roasted free-range pig and also provide a homemade vegetarian option of Portobello mushroom and halloumi burgers for some of the guests. Our chef and catering assistants cooked up a feast for all the senses, with pork, crackling, apple sauce, stuffing, cauliflower cheese, carrots, green beans, sprouts, roasted potatoes with garlic and rosemary, pigs in blankets and gravy for the carnivores, but the vegetarians were not disappointed with their scrumptious main course either, and everyone got to enjoy our lovely mince pies too.
