The food on the day was really exceptional. It went down brilliantly with our guests. We did have a minor issue after the event, but what impressed me just as much as the food was how Spitting Pig handled the issue. I contacted the Olly, he responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly and without fuss. How a company responds when something doesn't go quite to plan says as more about the company as the core service they provide. Olly and Spitting Pig set the bar in this respect. We arranged a massive corporate event with all the execs flying over, and I was really nervous - but Oli and the team pulled it out of the bag. Amazing variety of food for all tastes, really reasonably priced, supplied all cutlery, plates, napkins, staff pre event were helpful and accommodating, staff serving during were friendly and helpful, and most importantly the food was out of the world, it was restaurant quality food, but outside - I honestly couldn't talk more highly of them and happy for anyone to contact me for further reviews. Outstanding - literally, despite gale force winds (that blew the gazebo away!) these amazing guys persevered and cooked the most DELICIOUS meal in a gale that we could hardly stand up in! Fantastic hog roast and salads served in our garden for 100 friends and family for my husband’s 50th. The team were set up in good time and were super lovely to have around at our event. Last year we did a family BBQ to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, but my poor hubby spent the day cooking and not enjoying himself. So I reached out to the Spitting Pig only 3 weeks prior to our anniversary BBQ on the off chance they could help. From the initial contact with Sophie to Ollie the catering manager it was so easy. I was concerned as my daughter is coeliac but they ensured the food ordered was all gluten free. Steve and team were amazing on the day as well, really friendly and helpful and made sure my daughter was served first. Can't thank you enough for making our day perfect and not having to worry if there was enough food for everyone. Highly recommend
