At the end of October we had a hog roast in Portsea Island at Fratton Park. Our Southern Slow Roast Menu was the chosen menu for this evening. The client had opted for pork, beef, turkey and chicken for around 125 people. Serve time was in the evening, so the Spitting Pig team had been busy preparing the food all day. To accompany our hog roast in Portsea Island, we made our fresh salads, hot potato wedges and home made vegetarian option. We’ve seen an increase in requests for vegetarian options over the years, so we ensure we have a good choice for the non meat eaters. Our grilled vegetable skewers with Halloumi and pitta breads always seem to be a big hit. The food went down brilliantly, we waited until everyone had finished and quietly and discretely tidied away.
