Turning 30 is an unforgettable milestone in life, and planning to mark the occasion with a monumental party, birthday girl Emily reached out to the Hog Roast Isle of Wight team who were more than happy to discuss our variety of catering options and bespoke packages with her. Right away, Emily knew she was looking for a more formal sit down menu to match the classy country house she had hired for the special day, and at the suggestion of our private party menu 5, she decided to put her trust in our expert catering manager to pull off the event.
With Hog Roast Isle of Wight in charge of the catering, the only thing Emily had left to worry about was sending out invites to her friends and family who were overcome with excitement when the birthday girl let slip that our team would be serving on the day! It wasn’t long before the catering crew were loading the van full of locally sourced, wholesome food and making the hour-long drive to the luxurious country pad where they quickly got started on bringing the mouth-watering menu to life using our lightweight and easily portable cooking equipment.
Working together like a well-oiled machine, the Hog Roast Isle of Wight team made cooking up a feast for 50 people look completely effortless and by the time guests began arriving in the early afternoon, the event staff had decorated the tables with crisp white tablecloths and real crockery and were waiting to serve canapes of mini pizzas, wild mushroom bouchees, pate en croute, haloumi kebabs and Peking duck wraps. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as the guests made their way to the buffet table to choose from the main dishes of slow roasted pig with apple sauce, stuffing and perfectly crispy crackling and locally sourced free-range chicken with homemade onion gravy which was followed by fresh fruit salad and chocolate torte.
The day went off without a hitch and best of all, Emily and her loved-ones had a great time celebrating her milestone birthday with plenty of delicious food to go around. Before leaving the party-goers to it, the Hog Roast TOWN team discreetly tidied away the aftermath and left business cards with interested guests.
