We had a fantastic start to February being able to cater for a School in Braishfield, Hampshire. They had opted for our hog roast menu 1, with the addition of sausages and chunky vegetable and halloumi skewers for any vegetarian guests. The celebration was for a recent award given to the school for an outstanding ofsted report that had really meant something to everyone at the school. We arrived on site with plenty of time as the event was for 300 people and we wanted to make sure we were ready. The hog roast Braishfield pork had been slowly cooked at our base for 14 hours as it was a big pig. We set up our 3x3m black gazebo with three serving tables being used, and laid out our equipment. It all looked perfectly placed in the centre courtyard of the school and the head mistress was extremely impressed at the quality of all our equipment and how we looked. We were serving a selection of bread rolls and wraps, rich sage and onion stuffing made using the hog juice, great quality butchers sausages and a selection of sauces including our homemade apple. Many people came and took pictures and there were many eyes on us as we stripped it down ready to serve. As soon as 12 noon struck on the clock people were grabbing a plate and getting stuck in, most taking a sausage with their hog roast rolls. Everyone at the school was in high spirits and the food had only helped this. 300 happy and well fed guests, another fantastic hog roast event in Braishfield.
