We had such fun at the weekend hog roasting we were west catering for a birthday party for a lovely gentleman. He was sixty years young and a really nice chap. His guests had travelled from all over the country to help him celebrate and we were so pleased to be part of the day and supplying the most delicious food. Pork and crackling was on the menu with some fresh pepper kebabs in a warm nut glaze sauce with lots of green leaves and olive dressing. We had our baker make up a special batch of different buns, we had soft white, crispy, wholemeal you name it we had it! As the guests arrived we chatted with them and they were intrigued to see the wonderful pig sitting in all its glory basking away! As the guests mingled it was time to carve! We carved the pig and to be honest you do get lots of meat for your money the pig has lots of meat and hardly any waste at all so it more than fed the two hundred guests the pork was amazing juicy and succulent with a fantastic texture and the smell of the meat was incredible too, the guests were all intrigued and really couldn’t believe the meat they thought it was amazing and we were keen to stand and chat about the cooking process we do like to chat about hog roasting but the problem is once Hog Roast Denmead start chatting about hog roasting they tend not to stop! The salads were incredibly tasty and we love making nice crisps fresh vegetables after all if you are serving the best meat then you automatically want the best of vegetables to accompany the meat. Hog Roast Hire Denmead did a really good job making sure all were happy and all were well fed the gentleman who’s birthday it was said he had had such fun and he would definitely be booking us again for his wife’s birthday at Christmas now we do love to be asked back it shows we have done well and that’s what it is all about for us…
