Here at Hog Roast Hampshire, we always travel to different venues for special events. Most recently, we were invited to Portsmouth Cricket Club. The hosts asked us to serve our delectable roasted pork alongside a delectable BBQ spread. As you can imagine, it was a real hit with guests. We arrived at the venue several hours before to get the pork on the spit until it roasted to perfection. We were asked to serve outdoors under our marquee, so the aroma of the roasting meat flooded through the air and made mouths water. Guests couldn’t wait to tuck in. Alongside the pork, we also served delicious beef, chicken and vegetarian kebabs, so there was plenty to go around. And let’s not forget our homemade slaw and fresh salads on the side. We serve in metal trays so guests can come up to our serving station and help themselves. With this serving format, guests can mingle and get to know one another while queuing. Plus, guests can pile their plates with whatever they’re craving.
