If you are getting married in the colder months, then it can be a great idea to provide a warming and hearty catering option to keep your guests cosy and comforted at your reception. Earlier this year, Sophie and Harriet contacted Hog Roast Fleet to arrange catering at their wedding reception. The pair are getting married this November at a beautiful country club in Hampshire, close to where they both grew up. The reception is set to include live music from a local band, great food from Hog Roast Fleet, and 90 guests in attendance. For the menu, we were hired to serve a classic hog roast for the occasion, and we are sure that this will be perfect for enjoying on a cold November evening.

On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Fleet arrived at the elegant venue in the morning and began to set up our catering station. We arrived with plenty of time to prepare and cook every dish on-site, beginning with our classic hog roast. The pork cooked for around five hours before being expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served BBQ-pulled jackfruit and marinated chicken skewers, as well as homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a variety of side dishes. When it was time to serve the menu, our buffet station allowed the guests to create their perfect evening meal from the selection of dishes that we had to offer. Our catering went down a treat with the guests and it was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying our menu!
