‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the town, Hog Roast Andover was out and about feeding large crowds. Roaring flames on the grill, tasty smells filled the air and our culinary elves worked their magic to make sure not a single plate was left bare.
The holidays might technically be over but if you couldn’t already tell, we’re still reeling from all the fun Christmas 2025 brought our way. With that in mind, we wanted to take a moment to say a proper thank you to everyone who booked us over the festive season. And an extra special shoutout has to go to Redwood Global Holdings Ltd., who made our Christmas Eve one to remember.
Honestly, this was one event we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. On the 24th of December, the industry-leading woodchipper manufacturers downed tools, swapped spanners for cutlery, and got ready for something special as Hog Roast Andover rolled in to serve our Full Festive Menu to a crowd of 70 very hungry guests.
Spreading festive cheer through good food is one of our favourite things to do, and we didn’t cut any corners with this spread. For the indecisive meat lovers, there were two main options to choose from: succulent slow-roasted pork with all the trimmings, alongside moist, tender turkey slices served with stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce. Non-meat-eaters weren’t left out either, with grilled vegetable kebabs, tzatziki dip, and warm flatbreads making sure everyone left well fed.
The sides, though, were where this feast really came into its own. Hog Roast Andover’s Festive Menu is known for its seasonal extras, and the guests had been waiting patiently all morning to see what was in store. Let’s just say it was well worth the wait. Homemade cauliflower cheese, glazed seasonal vegetables, pigs in blankets (and plenty of them!), golden roast potatoes, rich homemade gravy, mountains of rolls and wraps, plus more Yorkshire puddings than we could count all made their way onto the serving table for the guests to help themselves. And help themselves the guests most
certainly did.
In true festive fashion, everyone tucked in with enthusiasm. Plates were piled high, seconds were encouraged, and between generous forkfuls of mouth-watering food, Hog Roast Andover was treated to plenty of lovely compliments coming our way.
A pretty perfect Christmas Eve, if you ask us.
