We had loads of fun this weekend travelling to to cater for the local rugby club. We arrived at the normal time, around 6 hours before the event to get set up and start cooking the pig; of course we was dealing with rugby players here and as well as pork they asked for our Roast Sirloin Of Prime Beef… these guys can eat! Once we set the hog to cook we went outside to watch the lads play rugby, until now I have never realised how hard and how much endurance rugby takes, shoulder barging into each other and grabbing each other, whilst running around a pitch and still carrying on… these guys are tough! After being battered and bruised on the rugby pitch, the lads came in got showered and got ready for tonight’s antics! They was sat down in no time at all with a nice cold pint quietly waiting for us here at hog roast Ampfield to bring out the main part of the night.. The hog and beef! We managed to take both meats out of the machine and place them on the carving tray… already as we was doing this we had a queue forming, all ready for their piece! The food was served and we had some really good feedback from the rugby club and the players! Hog roast Ampfield would be delighted to cater for them agai
