Sophie and her partner started off as childhood sweethearts and only grew closer through school, university, and moving in together. They became engaged in 2020 and are getting married during the summer of 2022, with Hog Roast Bordon providing the catering. The couple comes from big families and has varied social groups, so they wanted to host a wedding reception that accounted for this. To ensure that they got around to spending time with everyone, the couple opted for two separate meals for the day, which our catering manager Nick was more than happy to get involved with. The two menus would be a great contrast for the day and would work perfectly with the reception that the couple had planned.
After a morning ceremony, the couple will enjoy a formal lunch with their wedding party and close family, enjoying a sit-down meal provided by Hog Roast Bordon. For the lunch, guests will enjoy a slow-roasted hog served with all of the trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, roasted baby new potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and homemade gravy.
