The team of 25 have been working around the clock for the last few months to complete a local project, which is their biggest one to date. To celebrate its completion, the team get to enjoy a delicious meal from Hog Roast Southampton for their lunch, followed by the afternoon off. For our menu, our catering manager Olly will be serving a classic hog roast, which is the perfect choice for an office buffet. This menu is hearty and filling and is perfect for keeping warm on a cold October afternoon.
On the day of the lunch, the Hog Roast Southampton team will arrive at the office in the morning, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the midday serving time. We will start by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it has around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, the succulent pork will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we will also be providing BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious and nutritious veggie alternative to pork. We will also be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a green leaf salad, which can be combined to create the perfect buffet lunch menu for the staff to enjoy.
