Julia and Martin have been married for ten years this Autumn. Currently, they are planning an anniversary party to celebrate the milestone. Since getting married, they have welcomed five grandchildren into the family and want to include the whole family in the celebrations. For the party, Hog Roast Farnham has been hired to cater for an event in Hampshire, taking place in a marquee on nearby farmland. There will be lots of friends and family in attendance, as well as live music for the guests to enjoy. For the menu, our catering manager Ollie will be providing a delicious slow-roast menu, alongside a variety of additional dishes. All of our menus can be customised to suit the guest list, so Ollie was happy to get to work on creating the perfect package for the occasion.
In preparation for this party, the Hog Roast Farnham team will arrive at the venue in the morning and set up our catering station outside the marquee. We will start by slow-roasting the hog, which needs to cook to perfection for around five hours. Once ready, the pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, and marinated chicken kebabs, as well as homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Overall, this menu is sure to be a great addition to the party, with plenty for everyone to enjoy.
